Bio Face
The raw material of Bio Face, polylactic acid, is made from starch such as corn and is gaining attention as a next-generation material that serves as an alternative to petroleum-based plastics.
Many plastics use petroleum as a raw material and emit a large amount of carbon dioxide when incinerated. However, the raw material for Bio Face, polylactic acid, is plant-based. Not only does it use very little petroleum as a raw material, but it also reduces carbon dioxide emissions during incineration. Additionally, it has the property of being biodegradable under certain environmental conditions (in an aerobic composting environment at 58°C). Unlike conventional biomass plastics, it does not decompose significantly during use, allowing for long-term use. 【Features】 - It is mildly acidic, like human skin, making it gentle on the skin. - Antibacterial properties*1 remain intact even after 50 washes*2. - 3D processing eliminates seams, reducing skin irritation.
